This mode is ideal for users who prefer creating their Kyn entirely through free text.

You can set the following:

• Kyn Name: Give your Kyn a unique name.
• Description Prompt: Describe your Kyn’s physical traits, personality, and style.
• Kyn Style: Choose your preferred visual theme.

Note: This Character Creation mode costs 60 souls, and success is not guaranteed — even if the ritual fails, the souls will be lost to the void.

3. Spin the Wheel

A chance-based creation method designed for unpredictability and experimentation.

You can set the following:

• Name: Give your Kyn a unique name — it can be epic, silly, or mysterious.
• Visual Theme: Choose your preferred visual style.
• Gender: Select a gender, or leave it to fate and let the system randomize it.

Note: This Character Creation mode costs 120 souls, and success is not guaranteed — even if the summoning fails, the souls will still be consumed by the void.

4. AI Breeding

Combine two existing Kyns to generate a completely new one.

You can set the following:

• Kyn Name: Give your new Kyn a name.
• Parent A: Select a public Kyn or add a private one using its ID.
• Parent B: Choose a second Kyn in the same way — from public options or by entering a private ID.

5. Import Character Card

This mode is useful for users who want to preserve or continue using characters they’ve already created elsewhere.

You can set the following:

• AI Service: Select the source platform (e.g., C.AI, GPT Girlfriend, Candy, Chai).
• Kyn File or Link: Import the character file or paste the share link.
• Kyn Name: Assign a name to your imported Kyn.

The user experience here isn’t fully optimized — image regeneration isn’t available at this stage.

However, you can visit your created character’s profile to edit and adjust your Kyn there.

Chat Experience

First, the basics: Muah.ai offers a single chat window with an outdated interface.

The chat itself is unstable — during my tests, the app crashed repeatedly, forcing me to restart the entire conversation from the beginning.

And when it did work, things got even stranger: my girlfriend Lisa kept calling herself Emily.

Other times, my girl replied with ‘Sorry, I can’t help with that’ even to a simple ‘Hi.’

On another occasion, she sent me a random image of a male character, despite her persona being my wife.

Save your time, money, and sanity — better to check out other options.

Soulkyn

When you pick a character, you can check out your AI girlfriend’s profile — her intro, creator, reviews, images, different versions of her, and plenty more to explore.

From there, it’s easy to fine-tune how your girl behaves: set her memory, decide how often she messages you, or tweak her current location and outfit to match the mood.

I tested Soulkyn by chatting with Dr. Maia Winters, a therapist, and my girl stayed true to its character.

Advanced Settings

For users who want more control, the Advanced Settings panel allows fine-tuning of image style, quality, and consistency.

• LoRAs: Apply up to three style filters to adjust the visual style.
• LoRA Weights: Control how strongly each filter influences the result.
• Prompt Strength: Set how closely the image follows your written prompt.
• Orientation: Choose Portrait or Landscape layout.
• Scheduler: Adjusts how the AI processes images — balancing speed and quality.

However, there’s still room for improvement. The AI occasionally produces minor issues with eye rendering or somewhat stiff body positioning, though these are not deal-breakers.

Note: I recommend using the Realistic Original image model — during testing, it produced the best realistic image quality.

Video Generation

You can create a video by clicking on an image, selecting the ‘Create Video’ option, and entering a free-text prompt for what you want to see.

The animations flow fairly well, but they’re clearly AI-generated — shorter than competitors’ and often showing unnatural movements that break the illusion.

Soulkyn

Soulkyn’s video tool acts as an image-to-video converter. Select an image, and the editor opens automatically.

Main Features

But the robotic undertone is hard to miss — there’s no modulation or emotion, just one flat tone all the way through.

Safety & Privacy

Muah.ai

Despite Muah.ai claiming to use end-to-end encryption, it's nowhere in their privacy policy.

Worse? They suffered a massive data breach in October 2024. User chats were stolen. Yes, you read that right!

They're honest about storing your data, and your bank statement shows a discrete "Blue Light" charge.

But there's a catch - they share your personal info (name, email, phone number) with third parties.

Soulkyn

Soulkyn claims to use end-to-end encryption but doesn’t explicitly confirm that chats are encrypted in this way.

The platform stores a wide range of user data — including chat logs and IP addresses — for up to six years after account deletion.

While they won't sell your data without permission, they do share it with service providers, legal teams, and their staff.

Payments appear on your bank statement as “Soulkyn” — which isn’t very discreet.
