The search system is powerful, if a bit complex. A universal search bar lets you look through people, characters, lore books, presets (chat settings), and tags.

Filters allow you to narrow by personality traits, creation date, or even character complexity (measured in tokens).

On top of that, you can sort results in different ways — by timeline, trending, AI rating, popularity, messages per user, chats per user, and more.

Want a romantic partner, or someone more mysterious? The tag system makes it possible to combine traits to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Once your base is set, refine your character visually using presets:

• Subjects & styles: Built-in or uploaded characters; styles like Gorgeous, Urban, Fantasy, Cyberpunk, etc.
• Customization: Change age, skin tone, expressions (smile, crying, shy, laughing), gestures (victory, heart, salute).

Result:

When you check your bank statement, you'll see "Singularity Mutual Ent" - nothing that screams "AI companion."

Chub AI doesn't encrypt your chats. They say they take "reasonable measures" to protect your data, but won't tell you what these measures are.
