Note: This mode offers the greatest creative freedom, but the interface layout may feel a bit unintuitive at first, which can make the experience a little overwhelming.

2. Create with AI

This mode is ideal for users who prefer creating their Kyn entirely through free text.

You can set the following:

• Kyn Name: Give your Kyn a unique name.
• Description Prompt: Describe your Kyn’s physical traits, personality, and style.
• Kyn Style: Choose your preferred visual theme.

Note: This Character Creation mode costs 60 souls, and success is not guaranteed — even if the ritual fails, the souls will be lost to the void.

3. Spin the Wheel

A chance-based creation method designed for unpredictability and experimentation.

You can set the following:

• Name: Give your Kyn a unique name — it can be epic, silly, or mysterious.
• Visual Theme: Choose your preferred visual style.
• Gender: Select a gender, or leave it to fate and let the system randomize it.

Note: This Character Creation mode costs 120 souls, and success is not guaranteed — even if the summoning fails, the souls will still be consumed by the void.

4. AI Breeding

Combine two existing Kyns to generate a completely new one.

You can set the following:

• Kyn Name: Give your new Kyn a name.
• Parent A: Select a public Kyn or add a private one using its ID.
• Parent B: Choose a second Kyn in the same way — from public options or by entering a private ID.

5. Import Character Card

This mode is useful for users who want to preserve or continue using characters they’ve already created elsewhere.

You can set the following:

• AI Service: Select the source platform (e.g., C.AI, GPT Girlfriend, Candy, Chai).
• Kyn File or Link: Import the character file or paste the share link.

From there, it’s easy to fine-tune how your girl behaves: set her memory, decide how often she messages you, or tweak her current location and outfit to match the mood.

You can also create a user persona that mirrors your vibe, so her responses feel more personal and natural. Plus, there are plenty of language options if English isn’t your go-to for chatting.

And if your budget allows, the Deluxe plan adds Roleplay+, Progression Context, and Model Hyperparameters — giving you richer chats and more control over your AI girlfriend.

I tested Soulkyn by chatting with Dr. Maia Winters, a therapist, and my girl stayed true to its character.

Here are the deal-breakers: you’re limited to 115 characters per message — about the length of this sentence.

Also, Joi AI constantly upsells — my girlfriend randomly sent unlockable images every few messages. Needless to say, that got annoying fast.

• Prompt Type: Choose Full Body, Portrait, or leave blank for flexible framing.
• Background & Clothing: Choose from preset.
• Image Prompt: Describe your Kyn’s look, attire, pose, or mood
• NSFW Toggle: Enable or disable NSFW content generation.

Advanced Settings

For users who want more control, the Advanced Settings panel allows fine-tuning of image style, quality, and consistency.

• LoRAs: Apply up to three style filters to adjust the visual style.
• LoRA Weights: Control how strongly each filter influences the result.
• Prompt Strength: Set how closely the image follows your written prompt.
• Orientation: Choose Portrait or Landscape layout.

However, there’s still room for improvement. The AI occasionally produces minor issues with eye rendering or somewhat stiff body positioning, though these are not deal-breakers.

Note: I recommend using the Realistic Original image model — during testing, it produced the best realistic image quality.

Joi AI

Joi AI offers a dedicated image generation feature that gives you control over details like:

The same trick applies to video generation too — the premium plan includes 5 “free” videos, but choosing specific characters costs extra Neurons.

The videos look good with smooth animations and solid quality.

Voice Generation

The voice is clear and intelligible, suitable for simple interactions, but it lacks natural warmth and emotional depth, coming across as artificial.

But the robotic undertone is hard to miss — there’s no modulation or emotion, just one flat tone all the way through.

Joi AI

Joi AI lacks voice capabilities — if you want to hear your girlfriend’s voice, you’ll need to try another app.

Safety & Privacy

Soulkyn

Soulkyn claims to use end-to-end encryption but doesn’t explicitly confirm that chats are encrypted in this way.

The platform stores a wide range of user data — including chat logs and IP addresses — for up to six years after account deletion.

While they won't sell your data without permission, they do share it with service providers, legal teams, and their staff.

Payments appear on your bank statement as “Soulkyn” — which isn’t very discreet.

Joi AI

There’s no mention of end-to-end encryption or other security measures for chat messages. Your conversations and personal information are stored on Joi Ai's servers.

While they promise never to sell this data, they do share it with service providers for analytics and improvements.
